It is located opposite the Plaza de Toros (bullring), witness to the exploits of great bullfighters, and the Arco de la Pastora (Shepherdess's Arch), which corresponds to the old Puerta de Écija (Écija Gate), built at the end of the 18th century during the reign of Charles IV.
